Milton does have a few options in this price range. They are older (25 years +) condo townhomes with condo fees typically ranging around $250 to $375 per month. Most are 3 bedrooms, although sometimes a 4 bedroom will come up, and they usually have 1 full bathroom and 1 half bathroom.
At the lower end of this price range, you are still finding mostly condo townhomes, but as you start to look around $275,000 and up, you can get into a freehold townhouse. The freeholds in this price range will be a bit older (10 to 15 years) or you can find one of Mattamy's 3 story townhomes that also back onto other townhomes (no backyards). As you get into the lower $300,000's, you can find some newer 3 bedroom townhomes (smaller floorplans around 1,150 to 1,300 square feet).
The majority of Milton's townhome market falls into this price category. Here you will find the newer freehold, 3 bedroom townhomes offering floor plans with 1,200-1,500 square feet. Around the middle of the price range you should expect some of the nicer finishes (hardwood, granite) and features such as an en suite, walk in closet and finished basement.
Here you will find the larger floor plans (1,500 square feet and up) along with some higher end finishes or a premium lot (ravine, greenspace). The Milton townhome market does sneak into the low $400's, but there have not been many sales over $430,000 and they are highly upgraded.
